Day of the Dead Photo Session I Dia de Los Muertos I Gilbert, Arizona

Day of the Dead, also known as Dia de los Muertos, is a Mexican holiday celebrated between October 21 and November 3, which brings together family and friends to pray for and remember loved ones who have died, and to help support their spiritual journey. Private altars are made, and the deceased are honored with sugar skulls, marigolds and their favorite foods and drinks. Visitors also leave possessions of the deceased at the graves.
