Kids are completely unpredictable. They can be so adorable and easygoing and laughing uncontrollably one minute, and the next minute, turn that charm off completely! They will typically smile for you all day long until you put them in front of a camera; then they freeze up like a deer in headlights. We want to avoid the gritted teeth and bug-eyed forced smiles during our session.

Nadeera and her husband Alisher celebrated their one year anniversary recently, and what better way to do so than to put on wedding finery and document their love with a photo session? We even did a first look! Doesn't Nadeera look radiant in the wedding dress? She made for such a gorgeous bride, and these two were so adorable together - and so clearly in love!

MacKenzie turned three a few weeks ago, and when her mom asked me to do the cake smash session, I was happy as a clam! I have seen this sweet little girl grow each year and she just gets more and more beautiful! MacKenzie is so sweet, and I love hearing her talk - she has the cutest voice! She is a photographer's dream because she knows how to blow kisses and pose on queue! Love you Mac!

I have a hard time facing the fact that little Lincoln is already two years old. But you know what birthdays mean? Cake. And smashing cakes, of course!

What screams summer more than kids at a lemonade stand and sunflowers? Not much!

Recently I gathered my nephews (Lincoln and Anthony), as well as my friend's daughters (Sydney & Isla), for a photo shoot at a farm in Queen Creek. You can't tell from these photos, but it was 104° F and mosquitos were everywhere! These kids were such troopers!
